Before you install
Server requirements.
HudsonPanel is installed at the server level. We review the system before setup so the panel and hosted workload have the right environment.
Root access is required
Installation adds system packages, writes service configuration, runs a database migration, and enables or restarts server services.
Ubuntu Server
The exact Ubuntu release is confirmed during the pre-install review before any server changes are made.
Matched to the workload
RAM, CPU, and storage needs depend on the websites, mailboxes, databases, and applications the server will host. Resources are reviewed before installation.
Fresh VPS recommended
A fresh VPS is the preferred setup. An existing production server requires a review and verified backup before installation.
Planned per server
Timing depends on package downloads, current server configuration, and DNS work. The installation window is agreed before setup begins.

The available deployment script installs required packages, migrates the HudsonPanel database, writes protected service configuration, then enables and checks services.
